This template is intended to mark images that are over 500KB and generally only intended for personal use (although can be used on any image over 200KB). The first parameter defaults to "over 500KB", but should change every additional 100KB over 200KB or so. Use {{Oversized image}} for a less strongly worded warning (no deletion threat).
Some examples for first parameter:
- about 300KB
- over 400KB
- over 500K. Candidate for deletion if not re-uploaded soon.

Tagged articles are placed in Category:Images to clean up and Category:Big images.
This article or section needs to be cleaned up to a higher standard of quality. Please try to shrink and re-upload this file, if possible (especially if it will not be displayed at full size). It is too big at over 500KB. If re-upload is not done soon, it will be a candidate for deletion.
- This may include editing to correct spelling and grammar, rewriting sections to ensure they are clear and concise, and wikifying.
